40 Cans for Lent

Forty Cans for Lent – Knights of Columbus Donate to Flemington Food Pantry 
Over 1/2 Ton of food was delivered by the Knights of Columbus Bishop Edward T. Hughes Council #15540 of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Three Bridges on Monday April 22, 2019 to the Flemington Food Pantry. 
Food cans were collected over the 40 days of Lent, delivered on Monday April 22, 2019.  Pictured delivering the cans are brothers Ed Kotch, Jack Sullivan, Tom Pacifico and Frank Lieto.  Accepting the donation is Tom Pryor, Pantry Volunteer.

Quilts for Kids February 2019

The Knights of Columbus Bishop Edward T. Hughes Council 15540 At St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Three Bridges, N.J. contributed $1,000 for fabric purchases to Quilts for Kids on February 7th.  Quilts for Kids is a nonprofit organization with a network of volunteers who produce and deliver thousands of patchwork quilts to comfort children facing serious illness, injury or trauma in hospitals throughout the country. More information can be found at www.quiltsforkids.org .

Council members had the privilege to deliver 115 of their quilts to St. Peter’s Medical center for pediatric and neo-natal Intensive Care Unit patients at the hospital.  Delivering the quilts on behalf of Quilts for Kids are Andrew S. Casella, Thomas Monroe and Edward Koch representing Council #15540.  Receiving the quilts for St. Peter’s is Alexa Curtiss, Certified Child Life Specialist.
